Changes to Victorian Powers of Attorney Law

Changes to Victorian Powers of Attorney Law

Powers of attorney are appointed to make decisions on your behalf if you are unable to, because of accident or illness, or if you just need support. From 1 September 2015, Powers of Attorney Law in Victoria changed to provide more protection and support when you take control of your personal and financial affairs. The new law does not affect Powers of Attorney made under existing legislation. For more info visit www.publicadvocate.vic.gov.au
